The Salat or the method of worship is the main door or the gateway to establish a connection and relationship with almighty Allah. And also is one of the main doors which leads to complete the submission to almighty Lord.
Salat also prevents human being from wrong doings.
Allah the almighty says: Surely prayer will restrains one from indecency and manifest evil.
Prayer will save human being from Satan.
Presence of heart is the key in prayer. To be in touch with Allah is to focus on the prayer during the Salat when we are saying it. Many elements are involved to be in touch with Allah during prayer time such as: Quiet place, clean environment and etc.

Prayer has 2 exterior parts and 2 interior parts.
Muslims are characterized by people who have Iman (Faith) or who have belief in Allah.
This Iman is somthing could be outward as well as inward.
Th outward Iman is the belief we ave on almighty Allah and say no God but Allah and prophet Mohammad is the last apostle of Allah. These makes us Muslims.
But when we in our heart decide to live in accordance of this belief then we move from the level of Muslim to Moamen (Believer).
